Saturn in Libra finds us taking a long hard cold realistic view of all of our many types of relationships; we may find ourselves in a relationship with some one because they show interest in us rather than for any practical reason. We are more serious and driven to be the best we can be in the eyes of society. We are tougher more concerned with authenticity, justice and fairness and harmony. We have a heightened sense of a need for cooperation. We find competitive situations unappealing. We can more clearly see both sides to arguments and even if we don’t agree we can understand.

During this time, our resistance is reinforced as well as our demand for precision and our will to comprehend all things. The energy of this transit will promote ruthlessness, in the pursuit of goals. We may come across as tough or harsh. Our interest in precision and exact sciences is enhanced, and our capacity to understand mysteries is strengthened. Spontaneity is hindered as we learn to control our instincts. Some hard lessons are found in loosening the grip of control, and dealing with obsessive behavior. Care must be taken to tame or channel shadow intensity such as manipulation, betrayal, abuse, jealousy, bedevilment and revenge. From learning to endure, confront, and embrace the wild, potent forces within us, we claim our true power. By becoming conscious of the dark, we face our fears and learn how to go through the death-rebirth process again and again.
